PROJECT COACHING
In addition to transition coaching, I also work with individuals seeking help moving a project from their imagination into form.
Projects are an expression of who you are and what is meaningful to you. So, not being able to bring them into the outer world may indicate you are blocked in your inner world. That is incredibly frustrating and demoralizing! Working with me as your project coach provides you with dedicated time to talk through your ideas and aspirations. You’ll brainstorm, weigh options, reach out to others for input, do a little research, make decisions, plan, implement, and then stand back, marvel, and learn from what you accomplished.
Have you been yearning to:
Plan an event?
Self-publish a book?
Design a course?
Create a fundraiser?
Record family members talking about their lives?
Declutter?
What project(s) do you have in mind?
Sometimes, getting going is just a matter of gathering information, managing logistics, or getting organized. Other times, there are blocks to action, which stem from entanglements in your psyche (fears, self-critical thoughts, etc...).
As your Project Coach, I’ll support you as you navigate your path inward and forward. With each success, you’ll experience an increase in clarity and competence, and you’ll develop a greater readiness to take on your next challenge.

The process doesn’t always go exactly in order, but basically it includes the following:
1. Articulate Your Idea/Project - We’ll start by illuminating what you've got so far and defining your core idea. What is your purpose in bringing this project into reality? What aspects are clear and ready to go? What questions do you have? What outcomes are you wanting? This clear articulation of your vision lays the foundation for our work.
2. Identify Resources & Challenges - We’ll identify the tools and resources you already have in place and note what is missing. Do you have the right experience, partners, and collaborators? Are there external circumstances or obstacles that are in your way or are the obstacles more about your thought patterns, habits, or fears?
3. Set Goals & Milestones - We'll work together to set some specific goals and timelines, breaking the larger vision into smaller, more manageable pieces. These steps serve as checkpoints to track progress and stay focused.
4. Create an Action Plan - We'll map out a more detailed plan that outlines the tasks and timeline needed to meet your goals and milestones. We'll think about responsibilities and roles and make sure there is a clear path and that you feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
5. Implement, Adjust, Carry On - I'll support you as you begin implementing your project. We'll check in regularly, make adjustments as needed, and address any obstacles or challenges that arise. Our check-in sessions will invigorate you so you can keep on keeping on!
6. Reflect & Assess - Once your project is complete, I'll help you reflect on what worked and what could have been better. We'll celebrate successes, learn from what you experienced, and discuss what's next for you.
